¿A quién prefieres tú?

The Duchess looked stunning in a repeated outfit for today’s Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey. Kate’s navy Beulah London ‘Chiara’ coat was worn to a service of commemoration back in 2015 when pregnant with Charlotte. It has become one of her most popular outfits. The 100% wool coat features the classic fit-and-flare silhouette and retailed for £650. I recently did a post about all of the items Kate owns from Beulah London, and the brand’s mission to help women who have been victims of human trafficking. Kate’s hat is another repeat. This is her quaint Lock & Co ‘Tiffany Drop-Brim Hat’ which is available in navy and black for £325. It is described: «Crafted from 100% rabbit fur felt, this ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ hat is a style saviour. The stunning, lipped drop-brim and wide Petersham band make this hat a real classic which is perfect for dressier social engagements.» Kate’s new clutch is by Jimmy Choo. It is the ‘Celeste S’ navy suede clutch with the iconic metal cube clasp and is available for €725 in black, blue and burgundy. Kate also owns the clutch in burgundy and nude. For shoes, The Duchess went with her Rupert Sanderson ‘Malory’ navy suede pumps. While the navy is no longer in stock, the ‘Malory’ pumps are available in numerous other colours for £475. Kate debuted some new jewellery today. She wore a new brooch (featuring three flowers) and some earrings which also appear to be in a floral design. There is some talk that the earrings could belong to The Queen, but right now they remain unidentified (I will update this if they are found). Kate wore these to the Royal Foundation Forum not long ago too. You can see a better view of them in the second slide. For those interested in Meghan’s outfit, she is wearing an Amanda Wakeley coat and dress, a Stephen Jones hat, Manolo Blahnik pumps and a Mulberry clutch. Visit my previous two posts to read more about the service. 🙂

Atuendo casual

For The Duchess’s final engagement before going on maternity leave, she swapped her usual dress-and-coat uniform for some pants and a nice blouse with a familiar coat. Kate’s nude ‘Redgrave’ coat by Goat has been worn twice previously, and is available in multiple colours for £600. It is described: «The timeless Redgrave Pocket Coat is the coat of choice for royals Kate Middleton and Zara Phillips. This classically sophisticated coat is A lined shaped and has side seam diagonal welt pockets.» Her new top is the ‘Rosie’ style by Hobbs. It’s currently on sale for £49 down from £79. It has now sold out at Hobbs, but is available in limited sizing at John Lewis, Next and House of Fraser at the time of writing this. It is described: «True style versatility. The charming floral print of this shell top will work equally well with denim at weekends as it will under your go-to workwear jacket. Offering an elegant boat neck, the Rosie top has flattering three quarter-length sleeves with notch detailing.» There is also a dress version available. It is not known where her pants are from at this stage. Kate accessorised with her Mulberry ‘Bayswater’ clutch (sold out) and Annoushka baroque pearl drops (£320) and Kiki McDonough hoop earrings (£500). She completed the look with her black Stuart Weitzman ‘Power’ pumps (sold out). ——————— The next time we see The Duchess will be when baby #3 is born! I wish her well for her maternity leave and the birth! 💗

Gala

The Duchess looked every inch the princess tonight! She saved the best look for last in my opinion (this was the last formal event of the tour). Swipe left to see a video of her walking in. The Duke and Duchess were invited by Their Majesties King Harald and Queen Sonja to an official dinner in their honour at the Royal Palace. Kate was escorted into the reception area by King Harald. The dinner was attended by members of government, leaders in business and those from the Norwegian creative industries. ——————— The Duchess looked sensational in a custom flowing gown by Alexander McQueen. The blush gown was worn with a matching sheer cape that trailed to the floor and featured silver embellishments around the neckline. For jewellery, The Duchess wore The Queen’s diamond pendant earrings which have not been worn much by Her Majesty and their origin remains unknown. Kate also wore The Queen’s diamond bracelet, which was given to the then-Princess Elizabeth as a wedding gift from Prince Philip. It is encrusted with diamonds from a tiara which belonged to Philip’s mother. Kate’s clutch is Jimmy Choo’s ‘Celeste Crystal & Suede Clutch’, available for around $1,600 in Ballet Pink (this colour), Black and Vino (the burgundy version Kate carried at the first reception in Sweden a couple of nights back). Kate completed her look with her sparkly Cinderella pumps, also known as her Oscar de la Renta ‘Cabrina’ pumps, which are the perfect fit for this look. The platinum lamé pumps are available for $750 in limited sizing. She nailed it. #RoyalVisitNorway 🇳🇴
